Hes always in the front in pictures he's just a guitarist?

he's the bassist actually, but --
The rest of the guys say they couldn't care less about who stands where in the pics. Pete's just more talkative and he's considered the frontman. Patrick's shyer and he doesn't want to be in the spotlight (although recently he's been talking a lot more in interviews), he says he just likes to sing and not have to be focused on by the press and stuff.

i don't like fall out boy except thier old stuff.
But Pete Wentz does not think he is the "leader."
He is just seems like it because Patrick does not like all the attention (i guess you would call it that) of the press and everyone else and is more into the keeping his mind on the music and he doesnt like to deal with all the people.and someone has to in the band so Pete's the guy.
( i hate him lol but he is very brilliant i guess you would say it..to create the decaydance label and have all those amazing bands on there)

Hes the bassist not the guitarist.I dont think he thinks hes the leader but he just happens to be the most outspoken or talkative of the band.It could be because the photographers place him in front because hes the so called heart throb of the band.

Although Pete's the bass player, not the singer, he does write the lyrics. So he is a principal member of the band-- his words are telling the songs' stories.

1st of all: hes a bassist get it right they're completely different
2nd: true, he does write all the songs:
and 3: who cares it should be a good thing that not all of the bands have the lead singer as the focal point (like van halen, chili peppers, sex pistols)

Because just since he got famous on the internet everyone knows about him more than anyone else... it's pretty dumb if you ask me. Plus, most of the teenage fan girls are like, "oH MY gAWd!i!i! PETE WeNTz IS lYkE... sOo hAwt!!11!1111!!!!"
