I want to be very rich, and I mean VERY rich! But I do not know what is the best career for me. I want to go inot business because I am a business savy person, but I do not know if that is what I am to be. I am very good a science (BTW...I got a 99 on my Chemistry Final and a 94 on my Physics final) but I dont know if I want to spend so many years studying science and such to become a doctor. If I would go inot business, I would hope to become an executive or even the CEO or other officer in the corporation. But if I should choose medicine, I would like to be a surgeon and join a practice. What do I do???

The biggest form answer is you should do what you love because you will always be better at something you enjoy or find interesting, thus getting to the top levels where the real big money is seems more likely.

An example is my sister graduated from Harvard Law School and went off to make as much money as possible, a couple years later she burned out because she was doing law for tobacco companies and oil companies since they paid the most but she felt like crap doing it.

She has thus changed to writing and doing more public law which she finds more rewarding....

All that being said, Finance is a hot field and investment bankers can make all kinds of money in huge deals and huge bonus. Goldman Sach's recently paid out billions in bonus this past year. Be an Investmant Banker.

If you go into the hard sciences (physics, chemistry, even biology) and engineering, you shouldn't have a problem finding a job or getting paid to go to grad school. I'm a grad student in chemistry and it works out pretty well. However, it all depends on your advisor when you choose to go to grad school. So, pick a good advisor.

I want to be very rich too. You can put your money in stocks and actively trade based on what you think of the market. It's working for me, but it takes hard work and sacrifices.
