how do i make a query in access where i can can change the date daily?

I just need 3 items. id#, all transactions, todays date. thats all i need. for instance i need to find out how many chairs susan sold on the 12th. or how many chairs jane sold on the 16th. thats all i need.

Put [Date] in the criteria field - including the square brackets.
Then when you run the query, you will get a dialog box asking you to input the date. Type it in (using the right format) and hit enter.
