Depends on how much and if you're a man or a woman. Women need extra calcium, especially as they get older. Guys, be careful, though. That same calcium is bad for your prostate.

I read on-line that it is a conspiracy. All those ads promoting milk are all a bunch of bunk.
Got milk? I can't stand that crap. Propaganda!
The government and the dairy farmers got together not for the best interest of the public but for the bottom line. So now we have cows that pump out milk and pus because they have been given too much hormone to produce milk.
After reading up on this, I use milk very sparingly. I cut it all out for a while but cereal without milk sucks a lot.

Yes it sure is. It is a great source of calcium! Got milk? My daughter who is 8 loves milk and drinks it all the time and she has great teeth because of it as well. She likes it much better then any soda or other drink out there. She also likes to add chocolate or strawberry to it at times but usually even when we ask her if she wants chocolate milk at times she will say no mom i just want milk.

I really hate to tell all of you but
Joe B is right on the money.
Hey Joe I use Vanilla Silk for my cereal!!
They did an experiment and gave human breast milk to a monkey and the monkey died! Seriously!!
When animals are weaned from there mothers they do not have milk anymore.
We humans are supposed to have our mothers milk and not that of animals! After we are weaned we can get plenty of calcium from eating fresh fruit and vegetables.
Milk causes mucus production in your body. When you get sick haven't you noticed how the Dr tells you to stay away from dairy products!!
Why? Becuase you don't need all that mucus!!
Do your own research at a health food store.
Milk is not just milk. The milk of every species of mammal is unique and specifically tailored to the requirements of that animal. For example, cows' milk is very much richer in protein than human milk. Three to four times as much. It has five to seven times the mineral content. However, it is markedly deficient in essential fatty acids when compared to human mothers' milk. Mothers' milk has six to ten times as much of the essential fatty acids, especially linoleic acid. (Incidentally, skimmed cow's milk has no linoleic acid). It simply is not designed for humans.

I think organic milk is healthy for you. Good for your bones, teeth and it will keep your intestinal tract working well because of all the acidophilus (friendly bacteria) in it. The non-organic milk has hormones and anti-biotics in it, which your body doesn't need.

Non-fat milk. I get the non-fat organic milk, myself.
You don't need the fat. Lowfat 2% milk still has too much fat.
