Acquired traits are characteristics that you develop/obtain during your life
- a great jumpshot in basketball
- your education/knowledge
- if you have rhinoplasty, your "new" nose

Inherited traits are characteristics you obtain through your genes
- hair color
- your sex
- eye color
- skin color

Acquired traits are traits you don't obtain through genetics such as the ability to swim or the language that you speak.
Inherited triats are traits that you obtain through genetics such as your eye color and you hair color.
