Just the other day I noticed small red spots around his left ear and cheek. His ear has had a clear and then milky looking discharge.
His hands have small puss like bumps on his fingers as well.
I'm taking him to the doctor soon, but does anyone have any idea at all what this might be?

That is strep infectiom. Bumps on hands are a sign. You'll need to go him to the doctor. Bless his little heart. My kids a few years ago got bumps on thier hands and I took them to the ER cause I thought they had scarlet fever....ha ha
It was a strep infection. Am I spelling that right...

the small Red bumps sounds like it might be eczema but not too sure what the discharge out of his ear could be. good luck!!!

sounds like a viral infection, they'll tell ya there's nothing you can do. just keep him hydrated, and if he has a fever give him tylenol or ibuprophin...he'll be fine.
