I agree, its awful, it certainly isn't as good as some people tried to make out at the beginning, its very overrated and blooming frustrating especially when it decides to freeze or make the screen go blank while your in the middle of watching your favourite show, Digital isn't better than analogue its just cheaper, you can get more channels on one frequency unlike Analogue, the quality on Analogue is actually better, the picture doesn't break up and the damn freeview boxes are ultra sensitive to weather and other factors, mine plays up even when I switch the hairdryer on or paper shredder, I have a digital recorder box and not one show that I've recorded onto it hasn't frozen, deleted itself or skipped, what's going to happen when the digital switchover takes place, its going to be chaos especially if peoples boxes freeze as they are watching a major football match or tennis final etc, and what about older people, my grandparents haven't got one yet, but they aren't really knowledgeable when it comes to digital technology, when their box freezes, they are going to think its broken and its going to confuse many elderly people, personally I think its going to be a disaster, new doesn't always mean better!

Usually if storms are affecting digital TV, they're also affecting analog. Since it's all ran on the same line.
Much more can go wrong with digital though. I see people who never have a problem and others who, no matter what's done, always have a problem.

I think telly is unwatchable anyhow. There's a load of rubbish on lately. I'm thinking of asking for a refund on my TV licence.

I'm not impressed with the tele in general.

You can get HDTV, digital TV, Sky TV wotever you like; it's still the same crap.

if you have digital tv it can be affected by the weather , where you are , how strong the signal is in your area , and it can also be affected by other electrical goods like hair driers and that kind of thing and i know if anyone goes past my house with one of those bloody motoscooters it will scramble the picture and sound on my digital tv not really a lot you can do about it except try a signal booster on your aerial
