I do that all the time but usually they won't let me - they threaten to call a cop or their date beats me up or they get their prsonal tazer gun out

Yes. I've also told myself that I felt there are so many lovable aspects of every person I could fall in love with that stranger. And that I am 'large' enough a person to find intimate commonalities.
But then I just couldn't.
