The top two would be Reggie Miller and John Havlicek. But Miller is a great answer to this question.
Both of these guys wore out their opponents with their constant moving away from the ball... they knew how to use picks and to run their man into them. And both had incredible stamina. No one could keep up with these guys for a full game.

If I reading your question correctly "off the ball player" the first name I think of is Reggie Miller. I don't like him but he always found a open spot on the floor for a jump shot or lay up. Jordan is great as well, but when I think of a player who moved without the ball he is the the one that comes to mind.

I think Rip Hamilton is a good off the ball player because he is so fast and is able 2 get in positions to make shots or to make assists

I think it is Rip Hamilton that guy is so good at getting open and moving without the ball.

obviously the great reggie Miller. he always had an open shot. utalized picks to their strength, and set very good screens. he is a sure shot for the hall of fame first place in his year of ballot.

I would say Gary Payton. They don't call him The Glove for nothing. All the dirty work he did allowed Shawn Kemp to truly shine perhaps more than he should have otherwise.
