i got a new hamster today all he done is sleep his he ok.

sounds like he is alittle stressed out give him a day or two, he'll come around.. hamsters arent the liveliest of the bunch... I hope this was helpful! Have fun with your new pet =)

Hamsters sleep during the day and play by night. He might also be exhausted from moving into a new home.

Yes, he is fine. Hamsters are Nocturnal animals which means they sleep in the day and are awake at night.

they like to sleep in the day and they play lot´s at night, but they like to party at the weekend´s. My son has 3 cute hamster´s.& I don´t know if it´s because he fed them at certain times of they day or throught the week ,but at the weekend´s they seem to be wake day and night ..how do you explain that one?

Hes fine. hamsters r nocturnal.they sleep in the daytime and run n play @ nite.

yah u just have a lazy animal and thats natural to them but werid to us because hamsters are mysterious in all differnt type of ways

yup, thats what hamsters do, if hes a baby dont play with him that much becasue it actually makes him grumpy when hes older goodluck

it takes a few days for a hamster too settle in
remember not too get him out for a few days let him get settled
