After seeing him pitch last year, I think you can stick a fork in him. He's done.

The Real Question is, would you even want him to make the club? Yeah Liriano is out, but Garza looks up and coming and you still have Johan "Cy Young' Santana and Carlos Silva. Ponson seriously is a washed up hasbeen. He's 31 and hasn't had an ERA under 5 in 3 years. Perhaps he can be a decent Long Reliever? But I think the twins are just fine with out him, and I don't think he'd make the club.

First of all, he's with the Cardinals according to USA Today, he's not on the Twins 40 man roster. Tony La Russa and Dave Duncan are pretty good at getting results out of pitchers like Sidney Ponson. He should be a regular in their starting rotation

As a orioles fan I can tell you he will have about 5 good games and 17 horrible ones if he makes the team. We gave him so many chances each year we heard the same thing, he was healthier, lost weight, taking the game more seriously. Then he would have an okay spring and early season, then around July he would suck through the rest of the season.
