Top Gun is one of my favorite movies..but last night I couldn't help but notice the topless volleyball scene was a TAD gay. Anyone else pick up on that or is it just me?

That...and the locker room part where Ice over-exaggerates the chomp of his jaw ...all wrapped up in a towel. Hello.?!?

The movie Aaron is referring to is Sleep With Me. Great scene that goes into great detail about how Top Gun is a metaphor for homosexuality. It's towards the end of the movie during a party. The other actor in the scene is Todd Field, who was up for a screenplay Oscar last night for Little Children. I recommend that you watch that scene, no one is gonna say it any better than that.

ya it's a pretty gay scene. i saw a funny video online before outlining how gay it was. it showed quentin tarantino in a movie talking about how Maverick was struggling with his sexuality. and how iceman and his crew represented the gay man..... anybody know what movie that was with tarantino?
