Yes. It happens way more often than I'd like to admit, especially in the winter.
I wish I knew what to tell you. Really. I know I am doing what I can--I see a counselor once a week these days, and have been trying to get myself back on some sort of medication, at least until this week, this past week had me getting a head cold/flu thing that laid me out....
But yeah, I am doing what I can, and yet, nothing's ever good enough, is it?
I hear you on this one....if you want to email me, feel free to do so. I know a thing or two about having to hang in there through depression, and yes, it sucks.....it's doable, but it still sucks.
Take care and stay safe....and email me if you want to talk more or something.

Yes but I stay in my pajamas. I don't have a robe. The more depressed I get though, the more I try to fight it. I try to keep myself focused on something. I think too much about the future and now the present day. That is my mistake.

Yes, but you have to force yourself to get dressed and get out because if you don't you will just get more depressed. The longer you stay in your robe the harder it will be to get out of it. It is important to put yourself around people who can help you by making you laugh and bring your spirits up not down and if this doesn't you need to seek some help.
Good Luck.

No dear I have to work otherwise I would be homeless.
But I think you need some help if you are that depressed. Depression is nothing to be ashamed of. Is there a way you could get some counseling? If you can it would be a big help. If your circumstances are causing you to be depressed then counseling may get you going.
Counseling does not have to be expensive. There are agencies that have trained therapist who will see you on a sliding fee scale (depending on your income level). A clergyperson in your area may also be willing to help you or recommend someone to you.
If you suspect it is something biological then go see your physician and talk to her/him who may give you medication to help you feel better and improve your quality of life.
Wishing you all the best and hope you feel better soon.

Yes!, but then I figure out that looking into the miror at my messy hair, dull face do not lift my spirits either. So after staying in my robe do not help the situation, my husband would encourage me to get beautiful again if he would take me out. I would then dress-up, make-up,then I feel reborn again!.
It's hard to make the effort, bcoz that's why u're staying in ur robe in the first place. But as you see the self-improvement taking effect, you get motivated.

Yes. I just sleep all day and when the day is over -I feel more depressed because I haven't done anything. I wish I could give you advice to become less depressed at those moments - but all I can do is feel for you.

I take depressed days off of school, and that is exactly what I do. My family is lucky on those kinds of days if I even shower :P

Yeah, but hey, you gotta force it.
Depression takes work, and just getting up and showered and dressed does wonders for people.

yes I have,,,,, I've been there also.
sometimes when your depressed you have a hard time taking care of yourself, because you don't feel worthy to be well taken care of.
even though your taking care of everyone else,,,,
When I get that depressed if I didn't have people to take care of, and get me outta bed,,,,,,I probably wouldn't
