A sign that you really have no ideas is to find criticism in such petty details. You don't say, "Are you a Democrat or Republic", nor do you say, "Are you a Democratic or a Republican". Maybe he doesn't always get his adjectives and nouns correct but two things - even a conservative like me can find bigger problems with the guy than that, and your question isn't as clever as you would like to pretend it to be.
