well, this is a truth/half-truth. If you have a program like VNC installed on both computers, you can see what they are doing (but they will know it if they're not complete idiots). However, high tech law enforcement can use radiation from the monitor to reconstruct what a monitor is displaying. However, that would cost you a couple million.

Yeah, this is called an unpatched Microsoft Windows operating system and SPAMMERS/hackers have been doing it for years.

As others mentioned, programs like VNC can let you watch another computer but you do have to install it on that computer first and have it run as a service. It certainly won't be completely invisible though (an icon will appear in the system tray and a process will exist in task manager). Doing so without consent of the other person certainly poses legal issues and could be severe, especially if doing so between states.

Before Microsoft included Remote Desktop (Windows XP/2000 Server/2003 Server), VNC was a nice utility for managing Windows Servers or connecting to a remote desktop computer. Generally it isn't used though as the product is not very secure.

What this person is looking for is to be a spy! Evidently they wish to be able to view what the other person has written on the computer in real time. Not gonna help ya buddy. In some states it is against the law to do what you are asking. Believe me it is better to just trust the other person. If you have that big of a problem with the person, maybe you ought just break up or get divorced.

You can use VNC. It is a remote control software made to connect you to other computers you have it on. If its within you house then I would recommend that you use "UltraVNC." It is an invisible program and the one being watched wont have a clue unless you move the mouse. If you want to do it across the internet, then try Logmein. It is a free remote control software that you can access from a web browser. The only problem with logmein is it throws up a little message saying you are connected.

This is very illegal and it would be easy to show it was being done. Ask them what they are doing. They might tell you.
