Did Germany ( The Lives of others ) robbed the OSCAR to Mexico(Pan's labyrinth)?

Guillermo del Toro deserved to win something.....

I was rooting for los tres amigos( Alfonso Cuaron, Guillermo del Toro, & Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu) for that matter

(& other non-Mexicans, who had films that were great also.)

It was a surprise, but Pan's Labyrinth did well overall. It won three Oscars overall and tied The Departed for the most for the evening. That's pretty good. And I think it will be enough to get more people out there to see it.

Yeah.. The Academy spead themselves out pretty thick last night.

Everyone was sent home with something.
