It’s about Ted Bundy and the relationship they had with one another. They used to work together for a suicide hotline, and it was here where she noticed what kind of mind he has. First parts of the book she denies that Bundy could of committed all those crimes, then later finally admits that he was a serial killer and rapist. She also Mentions how he was educated and charming and how he used those abilities to manipulate the minds of his victims.
Just thoroughly read it though, That’s just my summary of what I remember.
I think its also on DVD as well.

It's not by Anne Rice who writes about vampires and the like. The author of The Stranger Beside Me is Ann Rule.

Synopsis:
Based on the true story of rising reporter Ann Rule, THE STRANGER BESIDE ME is the story of Rule's investigation into the Ted Bundy murders. Assigned to look into several unsolved murders between Utah and Seattle, Rule experienced the ultimate shock when it was finally revealed that the serial killer in question was actually one of her dearest friends.

Did I put Rice? Sorry bout that. I mean Ann Rule. It's about Ted Bundy and his life. It's a true crime book. Details of the killing of 35 girls, it's said that he killed over 100 but that can't be determined exactly.
