I found this - it lets you compile it into an executable, and you can add a soundtrack that will work independent of slide transitions.

Ok I am guessing that you already know how to add sound. So all you have to do is add the sound clip to each page and cut out the part you dont want to play. Then go in custom animation and fix the legnth of time for it to play.
