On my Windows XP, the windows logo on my start button looks messed up, like its been resized from a larger or smaller picture. The edges look all un-antialiased and pixelated. What could be wrong?

Right click somewhere on your desktop and go to properties and then settings, themes, or appearance. You can change it there~

If your start icon has been resized ,you should right click on taskbar.
A window will be opened , then uncheck some of the checkboxes of form.
Then check them again.
Then click "Apply" or "OK" button.
It acts as refreshment.

If it didn't work just right click on desktop and "Properties".
Choose "Settings" from tab bar and resize the resolution.
Then apply it.
I hope it would be helpful.

Hi. Double check your selected screen resolution and set it to your maximum. Increase the color resolution as well to 'Highest'.
