I think she will act and sing, then get a talk show. I hope on her talk show, she speaks more clearly and SLOWER and better then Tyra. Jennifer can be the next Oprah.

Don't be negative. She is an amazing singer, a beautiful woman and a good actress. I think she will be on Broadway and Hollywood 10 years from now.
1. "With the March 2007 issue, Jennifer Hudson became the first black singer to ever grace the cover of Vogue magazine."
2. "Hudson has particularly won praise for her curvy figure, and onscreen performance of "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going". The New York Observer described her performance of that song as "five mellifluous, molto vibrato minutes that have suddenly catapulted Ms. Hudson... into the position of front-runner for the best supporting actress Oscar." Newsweek said that when moviegoers hear Hudson sing the song, she "is going to raise goose bumps across the land." New York Daily News proclaimed, "When she sings 'And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going' -- one of the most heartfelt cries of pain ever written for a musical -- Hudson inscribes her name on an Oscar." Variety wrote that Hudson's performance "calls to mind debuts like Barbra Streisand in Funny Girl or Bette Midler in The Rose, with a voice like the young Aretha."
3. Jennifer Hudson's quote:
"I don't do clubs. I don't drink. I don't smoke".
"I'm not having no club party; I better have a praise party".
"Oh my God, I have to just take this moment in. I cannot believe this. Look what God can do. I didn't think I was going to win" "If my grandmother was here to see me now. She was my biggest inspiration."

Jennifer Hudson I believe will still be an actress but she is more of a singer so she might do more singing or record albums. She is still young so she has a lot of options.

I think Jennifer Hudson will remain a starring role actress and will go down in history for her acting rather than her singing career although I think she excells at both. We need more talent and less NO TALENT SEX? appeal, AKA Spears, Hilton, etc.

The actresses you have named were just that...actresses. Jeniffer Hudson may never co-star in anohter hit movie again in life but she will always have her voice, which is a God-given talent. If we never see her at the Oscars again, we'll see her at the Grammy's definitely. I look forward to seeing what other doors are opened for her.

If all those talented actresses have receded from the spotlight, then we won't hear a peep about Jennifer Hudson ever again. Can you say OVERRATED?

It depends on what roles are offered to her and which one she accepts.
It is harder for people of color to have long-term sucess in the industry due to the limits of "quality" and "quantity" acting roles available to African-American women.
There are more minority actors making the "A" list these days so hopefully, this will open up doors for more positive roles forJennifer and others.

Tough to guess on that one it depends on the choices she and her agent makes in taking jobs. The other winners are still working and doing some wonderful roles too.

I could be wrong but I think she got the Oscar because of her singing not her acting--don't get me wrong--I am not saying that her acting was bad but in my opinion--I think she is and will be recognized for her singing.
