So I would suspect that the Video card is lose, or the Video plug is loose. Maybe your video monitor has failed. Or maybe your new monitor has failed. (it happens).

-or maybe not (since your details indicate that there are other colors visible)

I just do a new Dell Windoze device at work with a new flat screen and the hue with the automatic settings was also "off" so I manually adjusted it using the monitors On-Screen Display (OSD) the buttons on the front. Read the manual that came with it or just cycle through the menus until you find the setting that allows you to fine-tune the monitor.

If you have a Mac, go to your System Preferences, then Displays, then Color, then Calibrate…

Check all the cable connections and their contacts. It may be a loose connection or corroded or dusty contacts. There also may be a loose wire inside the computer

just because it's new doesn't mean that it automatically works. factory inspectors don't check every item coming off of the assembly line. they only have time to inspect maybe 1 in 1000 or so.
