someone told me of a natural cure that would work in 6 hours,but didn't get a chance to tell me what.

That's a fungal infection that requires a MD's prescription for a anti fungal medication like "Flagyl" or the OTC "Monistat".There is no 6 hour cure for anything like that,fungal infections can be in the eyes,mouth,throat,vaginal,they can even cause a pneumonia,any where in the body that have a moist mucus membrane lining,and they are very easily spread,esp. with a sexual partner,both of you would have to take the medication.Take care. A friend of mine took a clove of garlic (do NOT nick the skin at all or it will burn like crazy) put it in a piece of gauze, tied a piece of floss around it so she could pull it out, and shoved it up there over night. Apparently it worked. Personally, I just use diflucan which is an oral anti fungal medicine. (Incidentally, my friend's name is Sarah...)

You can try the over the counter stuf like monistat and another good over the counter is called acidophilis from GNC. It re-populates your system with friendly bacteria

go to your local drug store(rite aid,Walgreens,Walmart) and get an over the counter topical or ointment,but if that dosen't work for you go see your physician. My mother always said to put plain yogurt in your bath,or just eat it everyday and it will help keep away yeast infections.
