I have two Toshiba laptop computers. I have backup discs for one of them. I have no sound on the other one and was wondering if I could use the backup discs from the one on the other one.

The one with backups discs appears to be older, but is running XP and has Celeron 1.5 ghz processor. The one with no sounds is running XP and has Celeron 1.4 ghz processor.

Or, do you have any other suggestions? The one with no sound does not play sound at all. No program sounds, won't play CDs, and the speakers make no sound at all. I checked the device and it says that it's working correctly. It also says that no driver is installed and either no driver is needed or the driver is not installed.

These are both previously owned computers. I need suggestions for a "fix". Thanks
