i have a 13 yr son and lately i have been getting calls from school that he don want to do his work etc..on friday he asked me about a boy that is his blood relative but he has not seen his sperm donor father since he was 5...and with out know till today i found out that my sons great grand father had passed away last week... will when my son asked me about this kid i told him who he was they go to school together and he needs to know the truth...i have been married now for 8 yrs with my husband he has since then adopted my sons...but yet the past 3 weeks hes been acting funny towards us could it just be puberty or maybe something else if anyone is a pshyc plz help me i fear my future with my kids and husband i dont want any problems with my husband he dont mistreat them he works 7 days a week from 6 to 6 he dont need any problems he provides for us equally..

He is old enough to understand what goes on, and also being a teenager doesnt help. Boys normally act out, but now he is even more hurt finding out the truth. So now he will act out even more. You should allow him some space to make things right in his mind, but at the same time you have to show your love and support. There is such a delicate balance between the two. Maybe have a suggestion box in your kitchen where he can write down his thoughts and put them in the box. That way he can express himself, but not with the intimidation of face to face. Take him out to do boy things like bowling or go carting, but nothing too out of the ordanary coz it might scare him. It will allow him to bond with you and hopefull share what is bugging him so much.
