I keep having this pain or discomfort under my left arm near my breast area. I went a couple of months ago and the doctor said she didnt feel a lump and that she thought it was a sprain. But the discomfort has come back. Could it be something more serious?

I had something similar and it turned out to be lymph glands clogged because of my deodorant - Mitchum. Turns out I've met a few women what have had the very same thing and it went away after switching to an all natural deodorant for about 2 weeks. A hot compess on the area can help also to loosen and get the flow moving again. Turns out a bouncing motion (like trampoline, running, or even walking) can help drain that area too.

Peace!

Hard to tell over the Internet, but if you are active and you lift heavy things it could be a sprain or a pulled muscle. But if in fact you are worried make an appointment to have a mammography and a chest x-ray to rule out anything else just for piece of mind. Good Luck

I also had the same problem with the Mitchum deo. It resulted in pain/discomfort in upper arm area and side of breasts. Discontinued use and it went away.

it usually is a clogged duct but some breast cancers start out that way too be sure to go to the doctor.

Just a simple educated guess on my part but could it be a swollen lymph gland?
