If you are up and moving around your baby is being rocked to sleep. Babies have very weird sleep patterns in utero. Maybe the sound of your boyfriends voice puts the baby to sleep. If you are having sex and after sex the baby doesnt move much its because you have rocked the baby to sleep. No cause for alarm its very normal. (sometimes babies are just shy!!! LOL J/K)

For most normal, healthy pregnant women, orgasm is a good release -- and is often easier to achieve due to the increased blood flow to the perineum. Baby's movements slow down during orgasm

During orgasm, the uterus contracts rhythmically. This is not enough to disturb uteroplacental blood flow or cause pre-term labor unless the mother-to-be is already at high risk.

At this time in pregnancy I would not be alarmed. At 25 weeks, the baby's neurological system is still pretty underdeveloped. Research has not been able to correlate baby's movements at this young age with fetal well-being. We don't even recommend fetal movement counting or nonstress testing until 28 weeks.

I would mention your concern to your provider. Perhaps an ultrasound would reassure you that your baby is growing appropriately. If you are still worried, you could arrange to be monitored for 30 to 60 minutes during a period of inactivity -- just to put your concerns to rest.

Oh no not at all. And it has nothing to do with your BF either...it is just that you are probably paying more attention to other things then the baby movements but when it is just the two of you {so to speak} you talk to the baby and notice more.
I always say it is like a headache, you can have one all day but when it is time to lay down in bed it becomes a migraine because you "THINK" of it more! See what I mean...

babies respond to motion, when you are more active they sleep a lot more, when you arent they wake. Kind of like when the baby is born, if you go out in a car you will notice the motion makes the baby sleep. Lying still in a basket they will be more awake.

You need to see your Dr. when you are concerned about your baby being unactive. Never be shy about seeking advice and help whenever you are concerned. That is what they are there for. For the sake of your health and baby.

having sex can put the baby to sleep-the rocking motion, just like when your walking the baby usually doesn't move as much compared to at night when your still

What's the deal with all of you having babies without a husband. Don't you realize that boyfriends will not make good fathers? Any man who will get you pregnant and NOT marry you right away will NEVER be man enough to be a good father. I am a man and a father. I am responsible for taking good care of my wife and child.

As for the question, the baby probably feels a change in you when this guy is around. Whatever it is probably causes more relaxation and/or sleep. Who knows, these things are sometimes mysteries.

You know how babies get dimples - right?

It could just be your perception - you're so pre-occupied with your boyfriend that you don't pay as much attention to movements, but whe your boyfriend isn't around, all that's left is you and baby so you really notice them.

i dont think so.
you know when your on your own,or even in the night, you can hear or feel everything...right
so when you are busy, you dont notice every movement.

if you want your baby to move, lay on your left and eat something sweet,it will soon start to move around

maybe ur baby is just tired of ur bfs visit inside of u...but dont worry..thats normal..and theres nothing u can do 4the baby to move more when he is around...actually try to make ur bf talk more with the baby than "visiting" maybe the baby will reconize him more.
