I need to gain some respect from my classmates?

In one of my class there is another girl withthe same name, so the class gave me a nickname. I kinda liked it so I kept it. Unfortunately there's this large group of boys who keep bothering me. They ask me particularily stupid questions and practically get into my face. I've complained to the teacher, and stood up for my self but nothing works. The best advice anyone can come up withis to cuss them out, but I don't do things like that (I'm pretty nice and that's the reason they say that group picks on me.). I'm feed up with this... suggestions please!!!!!

Boys are stupid. Taking the higher road with them isn't going to get you their respect. And it certainly isn't going to make them stop. You've got to turn the tables on them. If you're a sweetheart, they'll be surprised so you won't have to do it too often.

When they ask you a stupid question, answer it in a patronizingly way, then say something like - "Aww, Little thinker, little tinker",and point towards his crotch a little "that's what I've always been told. Poor thing." Give him a little, 'I'm so sad for you' face and turn away.

Expect to be called a ***** or something similar, which can be a GOOD thing, but they'll be too worried you'll humiliate them to do much more.

Ah been there, done that. I was in the same boat in school when I was younger. I know it's hard but you have to just ignore the bad stuff. If they say hi, say hi in return and when the stupidity starts, tell them you have to go, say good bye and walk away. You don't need their respect if you have your own.

If they don't stop in a week or two or God forbid, it gets worse, go to your guidance counselor or the principal if you have to. In the worst case scenario, you may have to do what I had to...switch schools.

Discuss this with your parents as well, they may have been through the same thing when they were younger and may have some ideas.

And remember, it's just school...it's not forever.

The best thing to do is going to be hard.First think of the boys as clowns.Then ask them to stop performing there routine for you, that you have heard it before.Then if they still continue,just act like you have gone over the brink.Say very loudly"YOU PEOPLE NEED TO LEAVE ME ALONE--NOW".The teacher will be shocked and you will be called to the front of the class.That is when you tell the teacher that you have ask for help and now you want it.If you are sent to the office just explain that you have had all that you can stand.Someone will help to fix the problem.Tell them that the teacher knows how many times that you have told her what is going on.Defend yourself and things will be worked out.Good luck be strong....

Umm..I'm not sure what to tell you. What grade are you in? Chances are if youre in middle school or early high school the guys who are bothering you are just immature and are gonna grow up at some point and stop bothering you.

I would just ignore them if I were you. People who do that sort of thing are only encouraged to do it more when you react emotionally. If you dont give them the satisfaction of gettin a reaction out of you, theyll probably stop.

their imature brats im going to take a assumption that your in high school.

If they ask you a stupid question laugh and say : well your probaly to stupid to even know the answer then laugh back.

i would be easy going it may show them that all there annoyances is having no effect on you and perhaps those brats will move on to someone else..If they do please stand up for the next person! but i think this may work its worth a shot.

i have like the same problem i have the weirdest name ever and these guys in my science class always pick on me for it yeah its annoying but the most i can do is try and laugh even though its soo firkin embarrassing!
