At the time, the law said whites had a right to the seats at the front of the bus, and blacks could seat at the rear. She sat in front, and broke the law... she got it coming.

Maybe it was a bad law, but it was the law, she had to go to jail befor she could contest its value.

Rosa Parks was jailed for her civil disobedience because in those times blacks had to give up their seat if a white person wanted to sit there. It's just the way the times were, she refused to yield her seat to a white and thus she was taken to jail.
