Of course children are more violent , they are still finding their boundaries. They can be vicious nasty little gits. Ask anyone who has been on the receiving end of the school bully. Over all adults tend to be more restrained as they have become socialised ( I am talking generalities here)
But in actual fact we did a survey (as part of my OU course at Durham) about violence and my colleagues and I found the results of the survey fascinating as it showed the most violent people weren't kids or drunken yobs but the OAP`s.
Yep you got that right OAP`s. I suppose its because they don't care anymore what people think about them.
So really I suppose I should say that Adults are more violent.

It's what the adults make the children, I brought my 3 sons up on my own, they haven't seen violence in the home, so they are not Violent.

No..they learn quickly from violent adults and perpetuate that type of behavior..

my 19 month old is a bully! if im laying on the floor watching tv she jumps on me, stands on my tummy jumping up and down
Kicks the dog and pulls clumps of fur off it (i have decided to give the dog away as she's so nasty towards it.(the baby)
she went to kiss me today and bit my lip, she always throws everything at me, scratches my nose, slaps my face, pulls hair (although shes stopping that now )
i'm dreading her starting Nursery, she will be expelled by the age of 2 years!

I think its 50:50
More adults commit serious crimes, murder rape. Kids do it too but less instances. However petty crime is done by both and slapping, kicking and so on is done all the time in the playground.

not at all when it comes to violence think about the age group people are at mugging and murder etc
