I am a nice person,too nice some people say.I have people in my life that tell me ALL their problem.And most of the time I don't mind and try to give them the best advice I can.But most of the time they do nothing to better themselves and I am stuck hearing the same thing over and over.As if I don't already have enogh problems,and I try to keep my cool because I have a young baby and I dont like her to be around a lot of negative.Does anyone have any sugesggins?

Dont take their nonsense any more, If they are going to be negative around you all the time and you dont like it dont let them visit you again. Let them know that they are acting inappropriately around your little one and you dont like it.

Tell them that if they aren't going to take your advice then they should stop complaining about it. Be polite about it if course, but at the same time you need to firm unless you want to be walked all over. You alsso don't want your young child to be brought up in an environment where people are using excuses for their failures. good luck.

realize that you are your own top priority and also understand you cannot be expected to solve all the worlds problems. take some time for yourself.
