Different types of Med Techs make crazy money and it's only a two year training period. Think radioactive medicine or even nursing, they may even pay for your school if you contact a hospital about programs. Then you have plenty of money to do all the poetry you want. Trust me I have a fine art degree, you want your art and career separate.

If you are creative, consider a career in marketing. There is a lot of event management type positions out there these days that move very nicely into MarCom (marketing communications) positions as you grow. The only caveat is that you should probably consider going to school in the evenings to get a 4 year degree.
Get the two year degree and see what happens. If you land with a good company they may pay most or all your schooling to get a 4 yr degree.

Gee, people who want to make it big without learning anything usually end up flipping burgers or waiting on tables all their lives.
"Ode to a flipped burger"
"How do I flip thee
let me count the ways"
