Has anyone noticed that the federal governemnt is advertising more on the radio?

The ad council, HUD, dept of energy, Agriculture, Drug Czar, EPA think green, et al.

Is it the government's role to spend millions telling us to get greener cars, stay off drugs, graduate, buy a house, et cetera. Even if they are advertising worthy causes, is it really ethical to use OUR money to preach to us?

When I hear, "Brought to you by so and so, and the ad council," I don't know whether to be sad or scared. It's indoctrination.

Where does the constitution allow for that???
