My pc is about 3 years old. All I really use it for is to play games online. Its a emachine and it works pretty good , but lately the games i want to play my pc cant handel it. I dont want to buy another. Is trhere step by step instruction on the internet that can walk me through improving my pc. I have a pent IIII processer with 2.0 ghtz speed 256 ram 32 mb-agp-3d. what I want to do is increase my memory and get the latest vidieo card i currently use nividia any ideas out there on what i should do and please tell me things that will work with what i have

So now i understand that I will need more memory and a better 3d card. Is there instructions on the internet that will guide me through doing this myself. Do I leave the old parts in and just ad new parts things like that ?

Based on what you've said, the best thing is to buy a new pc.
You want at least a 3Ghz processor pentium 4 or similar, at least 1Gig of ram, a 256mb or high video card, and since you want to play online, I suggest a 1.5mb internet connection at least.
This should run most things brilliantly

New video card and memory is all you really need to do.
But possibly delete things you dont use anymore and disable any progams that auto run on start up that are not vital to the computer running.

you should delete the stuff you never use and my computer is 3 years old too and it works perfectly, i just delete the stuff i don't need and i download software when it says it is required.
