Plaintiff's attorney. We only use the term prosecutor or prosecuting attorney in criminal cases, not civil cases. You would belong to what we call the plaintiff's bar. On the other side of the court room is the defense counsel. The attorney for the respondent in civil cases is also called the defense attorney. They share the lable with the criminal defense attorneys. Thus, in criminal cases you have prosecutor and defense. In civil cases you have plaintiff and defense.
