I know this website where you can get a nintendo wii. It tells you when it will be available in your area and when it will be in stock. I recently got one from here and it was extremely good.!

We had a difficult time locating a wii, but here is the strategy we used:

Because Nintendo directly ships, most stores do not know an exact date when new Nintendo Wiis will come in. Make a list of stores in your area that may carry the Wii (Toys'R'Us, Best Buy, Walmart, etc) and their phone numbers. Leave the list by the phone. Every day (morning is the best time), call the stores and ask if they have a Wii in. If they do, they WILL NOT hold onto them, so be ready to get in the car and go. It's also a good idea to find out prices for each store and get an envelope to set some money by your list.

Another hint: When you purchase the Wii, be sure to purchase additional Controllers/Nunchucks because these are VERY hard to find and are only shipped on the days the Wiis come out. If you don't buy it then, it may be a few months.

Hope you get one!

I've been searching desparetly for a Wii and still found nothing.

I wrote a song about it. Wanna hear it, here it go...

I looked at Gamestop, and Target, and EB Games too.
Best Buy, and Costco, and the Sears by the Zoo.

Every time that I ask I hear "there's still delays
Why don't you check back in a couple of days"

A couple of days will not work for me.
I cannot sleep until I own a Wii.

So hear I sit Wiiless for another week or more.
Playing my Gamecube just like before.

Hiya,

you can purchase a Nintendo Wii thru any trusted 3rd party seller directly at Amazon. They have good feedback, deliver on time, mostly are merchants themselves simply and Amazon operates as the platform, in fact the purchase is processed directly via Amazon as you would usually buy from them.

You might check it out at

http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FNintendo-LU502934445-Wii%2Fdp%2FB0009VXBAQ%2Fsr%3D8-1%2Fqid%3D1166291892%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Dvideogames&tag=advertiwillbe-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325

and then click on "See all buying options" at the right. That's just in case Amazon themselves don't have the item in stock.

This is actually currently the best choice to get your hands on a Wii at all - without any hassles.

You might also try out ebay:

or Ebay express where only selected and trusted merchants are accepted:

Hope that helps.

Best wishes
Mike

most of the bigger stores (walmart, bestbuy, circuit city, and target) have been sold out. you can rarely find them at eb/gamestop.... the shelves should be full of them in about 1-2 months
