Yes. Just be sure to change it when you're done swimming for the day.

Yes, it is OK. Years ago that was what the commericals were all about. Wear tampons and not miss out on having fun swimming. I wore them all time when I went swimming. I just changed to a new one after wards.

hmmmmmmm. on a heavy day, you really should have one. on a light day, use your best judgement. if u r not sure how to use one or dont want to, that is ok!! you can still go swimming, just have a towel ready. blood wont come out in water, just the second u get out. if u go swimming regularly though, tampon is the best bet. you could try a pad, but i doubt that will end well.....

It's not going to hurt you, but in my experience, the tampon usually fills up with water, which means you need to change it shortly after you get out. But swimming with it in won't hurt you.

It's fine! That's one of the best things about tampons! Surf's up! Jump in!

Although in most cases your flow of your period tends to slow or stop in water... its always best to wear one just in case... if you feel pain when using them, you may be using one that is to large for you, try using one targeted towards a smaller flow
