I dont trust myself.....I feel as though if my ex were to come around again it would be very hard for me to say no to him. I know I would say no but at the same time I know it would be very hard for me because I think he was my first love...at least a very memorable love (and honestly not even that memorable in a good way but when times were good times were OUT OF THIS WORLD)

I have a wonderful guy who is caring, genuine, trustworthy, appreciative, romantic etc etc.......whom I love and still I dont trust myself?!?!?!
What can I do....I just wish my ex would drop off the planet

It means you still have strong feelings for him, it happens. He left such an impression on you, and like you said, when times were good, they were OUT OF THIS WORLD.
You probably miss the excitement and thrill he provided.
Your new guy might be everything you described, but he doesn't provide the thrill or the OUT OF THIS WORLD good times. He's probably somewhat boring when compared to your ex. It's not a knock against him, he is safe, your ex is exciting.
