How'd you finaly stop smoking?

I had a friend who quit successfully with the help of Wellbutrin. Its really an antidepressant but the dr community has found it is successful in helpiing people try to quit smoking.
Anyhow, I tried it and my doc instructed me to use the wellbutrin about a mth before I stopped smoking to get the meds into my system. And then after using the wellbutrin for about a mth then he told to just quit completely and still keep taking the wellbutrin for about 2 wks after quitting smoking.
So I did that and I never had a craving. I just laid the cigs down and never picked them back up.
Now my friend said the wellbutrin made her feel a lil weird, but I never felt any differences in my mood or anything.
Hope this helps.
It did for me after the patches, lozenges, and gum failed.
