I think some states require that you have experience before sitting, so check with your state chapter of the AICPA.

That said, I think it's a huge help to have some practical public accounting experience before sitting for the exam. There are some things that make a whole lot more sense when you do them, as opposed to studying them. Auditing is a classic example of this. The terminology means nothing until you're actually sitting at a job site with the audit manager giving you instruction.

I agree with SuzeY but want to elaborate on my own experience. You are aware by now of the sections obviously. You do not need to take them all at one time. I would suggest saving the auditing portion for after you gain some experience if you can. The other portions could be taken now while you have just spent 4 years studying the stuff. Real life auditing experience really helps put the questions into perspective. Obviously it can be done without the experience, but it helps.

SuzeY nailed it with the experience per state. Check yours.

I accept as true with SuzeY yet pick to intricate on my own journey. you're conscious by now of the sections obviously. you do not favor to take all of them at one time. i'd advise saving the auditing component for once you benefit some journey in case you could. the different parts will be taken now at the same time as you've in simple terms spent 4 years reading the stuff. genuine life auditing journey truly helps placed the questions into attitude. obviously it will be performed without the adventure, notwithstanding it helps. SuzeY nailed it with the adventure in line with state. verify yours.
