I think that its sad to do this and say these things about a woman that died.

It keeps them from having to deal with real important issues that affect them directly, like the deficit and health care etc.

Unfortunatly they have nothing else better to do or to talk about. Through all of this I have told people I hear talking about that it's not right for the media and all of the supposed men claiming to be her baby girl's father. She had a family that is grieving and needs to be left alone so they can do so without having to turn on a t.v, radio, or read a newspaper without hearing or reading about her. She was a person that was in the spotlight. Every person that has died their loved ones should not constantly be reminded of the not so reputable things that person did in their lives but take the time to remember the good things and times that they had with the person. Same goes with anybody that has ever been famous! I saw an interview with her sister who was crying saying that she wished that people would do just that and her main concern is her daughter! It is a shame that her family is have to continue to deal with the public hour in their time of pain.

They are obsessed because Anna Nicole Smith was an Icon of American excess and tragedy.

It's always the way when something is newsworthy & the media blows it up - it's all in our face for a week or two & then, kaboom, gone forever! They'll move on to the next story soon. I actually haven't heard anything in a day or two. I am curious about who the little baby girl will end up with. Aren't you? :)

Cuz she was famous and beautiful and controversial and her son just died and she gave birth to a baby and then she died so young at 39 and people don't know why she died.

Oh wow....she died on my birthday...i feel really sorry for the baby. They r obsessed with her because she was like a playboy icon. Also, they really don't know what to do with their lives except gossip, about dead people.

we'll for one thing she was so beautiful. sad that she had so many men in her life that she dont know who fathered her daughter.that video of her like a clown that makes me so mad. i think they should get howard k. stern.drugs ruled her life. she would been something big. but it makes me sad how she lived her life.

when people talk about someone else they forget their own problems. thats why people watch a lot of tv. get drama going on in their heads that isn't theres. better than intoxicating yourself though.
