~Sam "Momo" Giancana, Boss of the Chicago mob, was ticked at JFK for several reasons including:
- after Jack and Bobby used Giancana's influence to steal West Virginia in the primary and Illinois in the general election, they reneged on their promises to Momo and the Five Families and made a witch hunt out of Jimmy Hoffa.
- After Momo and Santo Trafficanti agreed to assassinate Fidel Castro for him, JFK refused to fulfill his promise to appoint Carlos Marcello as Under-secratary of Commerce and instead initiated a wiretap campaign in New Orleans designed to help Pappa Joe Kennedy undercut Italian alcohol and drug prices throughout the Mississippi basin.
- Kennedy publicly disrespected and disgraced Frank Sinatra
- perhaps most importantly, JFK was banging Momo's woman, Judith Campbell and he got caught (by Marilyn Monroe - shortly before her 'suicide')
One doesn't mess with the godfather, and JFK's chickens came home to roost in Dallas. Lee Oswald was attempting to make his bones, unaware that Jack Ruby already held the contract on him, to be completed once Oswald did the deed. Ruby had nothing to lose, already having been diagnosed as terminal, and, at the urging of Phyllis McGuire (who promised a reunion of the McGuire Sisters at his Dallas and Chicago clubs - at the behest of Momo) Ruby took out Oswald, thus forever sealing the lips of all participants. However, when Giancana threatened to spill the beans after being extradited from Cuernevaca, Mexico, in 1974, he himself took 7 shots to the head while cooking up some sausage and peppers in his basement while the FBI had the house under surveillance. Interestingly enough, Momo was scheduled to appear before Congress shortly after his dinner was interrupted. Hmmm. Makes one wonder if Dallas was exclusively a mob hit, doesn't it.

Marcello (Boss of the New Orleans crime family) with the help of Cuban agents got the patsy Oswald from the Russians. Marcello's beef with the Kennedy's stemmed from his kidnapping and deportation to Gautemaula. He was under pressure from the Justice Dept., led by RFK.
To seal the link to the Mob, Jack Ruby had to seal Oswald's lips. The then Boss of Bosses, out of Chicago (Giancana) gave the go-ahead for Marcello to carry out the plan. Giancana was still mad about JFK's renigging on campaign promises to stay clear of the Mob. As a favor to JFK's dad, Giancana got JFK elected by manipulating the election machine in Chicago.

No one really knows why JFK was killed. The assassin was known to be Lee Harvey Oswald, but there are many conspiracy theories as to who really killed JFK. Some people believe it was the CIA or the Mafia, but we'll never know... it'll remain in the shrouds of mystery.

A French assassin, who was part of the mafia, but worked for the Central Intelligence Agency part time. The Kennedy Assassination was a collaboration between several wealthy industrialists and members of the military who wanted to keep the Vietnam War going. (The Kennedys were prepared to end it in 1965).
They also recruited several rogue members of the CIA who were threatened by Kennedy's efforts to restructure the intelligence community.

Lee Harvey Oswald. No one has ever produced any factual evidence to the contrary. All the conspiracy theorists have is innuendo and prejudice.
