i want my homepage to be yahoo but my computer wont let me. its set to msn and iv tried going to tools, options and changing it there but wen i click apply and x out of it and open internet explorer, msn opens. its really annoying me. can anyone tell me how to fix it ?? thanks.

yes iv done both of those things and to no avail. for some reason i think its not actually msn but a dummy page as it does not display correctly and wen i click on any of the links it says internet explorer cannot open etc etc. is this possible ??

Right click on IE. When it pops up the menu click on Properties. The General page on top will have the URL line near the top. Just type in what page you want as your home page, click apply and then ok and you should be set.

Try seeing if you can set yahoo as your homepage the alternative way.
Go to http://www.yahoo.com/ and in the top left hand corner there is a link that says Make Y! your home page. This may work.

Try doing it manually by Start, Control Panel, Network & Internet Connections, Internet Options.
