well, yeah, if he can kill orachimuro, sorry bout the spelling, he can kill itachi. but what would be great would be for naruto to intervene and kill itachi instead. that would be a real knife in the back for sasuke. he would go berserk. ultimate fight again!

Yes Sasuke can kill Itachi. But it's not going to be easy. But with more training from Kakashi, I think Sasuke has the potential to defeat Itachi.

at his current state he could put up a fight but if itachi used the mengeko sharingan sasuke would die.
but if he kills orichimaru i think that kabuto would tell the fifth and then there would be another hunt then they all meet up and try to kill itachi together and sasuke would get mad and tell everyone to leave but they wont then naruto uses his wind/resengan jutsu and kill itachi and injure himselfe and while he did that sasuke would have been getting beat up but naruto would lke send a clone o get him out of the way then that gang would be rejoined for the search of the akutsuki or whatever. OH and they would have killed the fish guy thing to, well sasuke would have in one hit.
or itachi and the other guy would whoop sasukes *** then naruto, sakura, sai, and kakashi would save him then sasuke would come back to train or leave and find another trainer.
one of those two things would happen

I think sasuke has potential to kill Itachi and might just do that if naruto does not kill him first or if Itachi does not turn good in the end and dies at the hands of another.

not about sasuke/naruto thingy... YET
but rescuing gaara.. (sorry for the spoil)
i mean.. sasuke went to orochimaru,, and for the 2 1/2 years in the story.. the watchers havent know what the characters' real strenght are..
(during those years.. Sasuke trained that his speed has gotten faster than last we saw >one proof, a clip on the very first ep. of shippuuden, also when he talked inside naruto with the kyuubi< , dont know what was Itachi doing.. >reign power with the akatsuki to steal the tailed monsters, prob<)
so possibly sasuke could or not..
and i think sasuke didnt want to kill his BEST friend.s anyway.. lol.
to aweaken the mangekyou>idk< SHARINGAN....

Yeah but Itachi is strong enough to improve each time, if Sasuke keeps up he will kill Itachi which he deserves to do.

well first of all yes he could but not in his current state i mean if sasuke did kill naruto and got the watever sharingan and maybe used level 2 curse seal because remeber that itachi is blinded by the using the watever sharingan soo much soo sasuke does have a chance but that is unless he kills naruto and we haven't seen all of itachi's powers and if he is stronger because he already trained with the sharingan for such a long time but currently i think sasuke is no match at all

Ok, I know I made a Naruto question with all these weird speculations, but here's one that I heard. Itachi didn't kill the Uchiha clan, but in actuality the Akatsuki people to threaten Itachi to join them. Also he joined because he didn't want them to kill Sasuke so he made it look like he did it so Sasuke would become strong. Also that guy Sasuke sees on the building wasn't Itachi but some member of the Akatsuki (the leader aka 4th Hokage).
*I don't personally believe this, but wouldn't it be cool!O.o

can kill itachi yea no problem i do think that HE can kill him i mean right now in the manga he's gonna fight against oorchimaru(sp???) but kishimoto isnt gonna let sasuke die and orochimaru live(at least i think)..cause sasuke still has a buncha unresolved things to do...so if he can kill/beat orochimaru then he SHOULD be able to kill itachi..(but i think narutos gonna kill itachi instead XDD..yeah im betting money on dis)

yes because he is very powerful he can go inside naruto and talk to the 9 tail fox willingly and if you saw the first episode of naruto 2 the fox even said that naruto needed the fox power and tat sasuke was so fast thanaruo culd not even react even naruto has been training really hard for the past 2 years so if he can be as powerfull as he is with out rrleasing the 1st and 2nd curse seal how much damedge do u think he could do
