i was a resident here in canada having a Permanent Resident card and a valid passport,,,we are going to Mexico with my employer next week to spend vacation there for two weeks,do i need to get a visa?

I presume you are flying...you can get your tourist visa on the plane. The cost is about $20.00 U/S. They do it this way all the time. You can call your airline to confirm this for your peace of mind.

You will need a PASSPORT if you are flying and I believe you are ok till next year if you are driving.In the past just a valid drivers licenses or resident card was all you needed.

well me and my mom have family in mexico... and well we went in the summer.. and we are NOT tourists and we just used our regular visas!!
