There are plenty. Deep jungles in Brazil and Malaysia. The terrain surrounding many volcanoes. The bottom of the sea, mainly the Pacific ocean which has the deepest point in the world. Certain areas of mountains go untouched by humans due to the extreme danger of reaching them. Don't forget about small places such as undiscovered caves and channels of water that flow in the middle of glaciers into underground lakes. There are vast deserts such as the Sahara that have not been covered in everyplace. Antarctica is the most remote place in the world and though some explorers have walked across it or sailed along it, the vast amount of area that it encompasses and its harsh climate ensure that it will remain a very unexplored location on our planet. And there are many islands that go undiscovered to this day because of their remoteness and size.

There is no shortage of unexplored land on the earth. You don't even have to look at the bottom of the oceans.

The southern areas of Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana (French protectorate) bordering Brazil remain largely unexplored. Sure, there are trails and basic roads that allow some travel, but there isn't a need to plunge into the depths of the jungle.

Furthermore, these three countries neither have the resources nor the interest to develop their southern lands. Maintaining a stable government and economy is difficult enough.

I can always spot the city slickers. They are the ones who think we have explored everywhere. There are plenty of places in North America that are virtually unexplored. As a couple of the good answers pointed out, there are places in other continents that are even more remote and unknown.

Well how can anyone answer to this question. If there were any places left undiscovered then the people who knew themselves would go there and discover it, no one is going to tell you are they. It just common sense my friend. Well if you really want to know if there are any unexplored regions still left on our earth then please do help yourself by getting out of the house and starting a journey onto finding the undiscovered place(s). And please do tell us when you discover the place.

Hope this make you understand what im on about for so long.

Yes!!!
There are unknown places underground. There are lots of people looking for virgin cave. I have been to a place in a cave that less then 20 people have ever been to. It took me 4hr to drive there and a 20hrs in cave to get there and back. There is more cave past the terminal sump that has not been explored. or visited. After that long underground .The exploring kind of fades. You start missing a lot of the scenery. There is lots of virgin cave in this cave. You might look up your local grotto and check into cave survey. I prefer cave BIO but whatever.

The oceans are the final great frontier on the planet. We know more about space than we do about the bottom of the ocean.

Also, there are so many places in the world where we have not really explored. Mountains, jungles, caves, and other areas are out there that may be on maps but have never really been explored by a person on the ground.

Beleive it or not, YES!
There are several places in the U.S. where you can go that quite possibly know one has ever set foot!
Like places in the Pacific North West.
However be prepared to have to hike many miles to get there.

Yes. 70% of the planet is covered by water. We have no idea what is in the really deep bits of it.

It should be the bottom of the ocean. Because of its depth & vastness explorers a hard time in exploring it.
