why do some people have dimples and is it true that some other people like them??

I found very helpful information on wikipedia. On there it states:
"Dimples themselves are actually caused by having shorter muscles in certain areas of the face."
Interesting facts, such as 1 dimple is less common that 2. Even mentions about some cultures finding dimples attractive. Perhaps you will find more information there.

I have dimples and everyone always compliments them. I used to hide them when I was younger by not smiling but now I've learnt they're a part of me. No idea why people like them so much, I guess they're quite cute.

I like dimples! I think it is very sexy. Have no clue why people have dimples though I think its just their genetic makeup

Dimples are adorable! I'm not sure why people have them but I have never seen them make someone look bad, only cuter!

I think dimples are so sweet, when they smile it just makes them look so pretty, i really wish i had dimples, i dunno y some people do have them and why some dont but i think they are really cute =]

Dimples are cute . Especially when you have them on your buttocks. It's cute when you have a nice shape.
