Imagine someone saying that she wants to have an abortion because she knows she won't have the means to take care of her baby, but then is forced to deliver the child- and guess what? She still can't afford to feed the baby, and noone wants to adopt it...

There are people already born who are STARVING, and we argue about something as minute as abortion.

TNT- There are plenty of available babies waiting for adoption in the U.S., but they may not meet your requirements.

How about if I add that the mother is HIV positive as a result of drug use...

I completely agree with you. Our planet as well as our country is already overpopulated enough. To end abortion is suicide to our planet. We might as well make condoms illegal! Those who can't afford to have a child should not have it! Plain and simple! Those who say that people who can't afford children can put them up for adoption and therefore should avoid abortion are forgeting one very important fact: foster care children have the worst lives in America! I would rather have not been born at all than live in a foster home in L.A.!

First of all the President doesn't want people killing unborn babies because it is wrong. Murder is murder whether its for the convenience of a woman or not(that's going to get me thumbs down right there)

Now read the whole story you linked to and think about it from a political mindset.

The Governors are asking for more money from the Federal Government for a program that provides insurance to the children of working families that make too much to qualify for medicare, YET...

"At stake is coverage for 6 million people, overwhelmingly children, as well as the hopes of many governors in tackling the larger challenge of the uninsured. All governors rely on the State Children's Health Insurance Program, intended to aid uninsured working families." THEY WANT TO EXPAND THE PROGRAM TO INCLUDE MORE PEOPLE...EXAMPLE

"More than a dozen states have expanded SCHIP, with consent of the federal government, to cover adults in those families. The program now insures an estimated 639,000 adults among its 6 million." - SOME STATES ARE ALREADY EXPENDING THE PROGRAM TO INCLUDE THE ADULTS OF THE FAMILIES

"Many governors said the administration's efforts to scale back the program would undermine state efforts to craft universal health care plans. Many of these have started with a target of insuring all children." - SEE THE GOVERNORS IN SOME STATES ARE TRYING TO BE A HERO AND GIVE A UNIVERSAL HEALTH PLAN PAID FOR BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

Sorry about the caps but I wanted to distinguish my remarks from the story quotes.

This is just one more example of using an important issue as a political football to further someones career. Remember, the President only suggests the budget, Congress approves it. Yet when there is any issue with money it always falls into the Presidents lap.

Abortion is minute? HAHA tell that to the face of god when you're standing in front of him. All humans are made in the image of God and and abortion destroys the very soul of that. It is murder because you are destroying the chance for that baby to be born. God doesn't make mistakes. He put that baby there for a reason. There are many families out there that would love to have a baby but can't. If the woman doesn't have money to pay for a baby then tell her to keep her legs closed.

"That which you do to the lesser of these, you do unto God"

The ones who are already alive will soon be sent to a needl;ess war, he needs as many humans as he can, no point killing them in the Womb when they can die in battle, is there?

Bush is NOT a Christian, unless you mean he is a Christian in the same sense as the KKK were of course

I believe Abortion is wrong because life is Gods not ours, it is not OUR choice, the choice we have is long gone by the time a baby is in production

He doesn't.

As far as I know, he's against dismembering or chemically burning unborn infants and those already born as well. Even the "inconvenient" ones! Seems perfectly consistent to me.

If we agree that those people we don't want to pay for can be terminated, we could save a lot of money on jails, homeless shelters, etc. What are the limits to your logic?

Is this really a "minute" matter?

Typically, people who threaten to kill others unless they receive money are called kidnappers and extortionists.

There are good arguments for supporting legalized abortion. This is not one of them.

Politics, there are more groups of people demanding something for unborn, than groups for the living. It brings more money into your funds when you run with larger groups and more money.

What, the ones that get sucked up into the public school system and then spit back out years later as a marxist soldier for the UNs global warming brigade?

Damned if you do, damned if you don't...

I guess the same reason that fertilized eggs in a clinic were rescued ahead of people during Katrina in NO. They also advocate killing the poor and homeless, so what do you do?
