How many of you Liberals and Conservatives are guilty of bashing the other side of the aisle ? Did it produce RESULTS ?
OR
Did you stop that already and instead placed your hopes on EDUCATING the other side of the aisle ?

Steve - Might I suggest that you look at how you're 'answering' ? I've noticed a high percentage of your 'answers' are not really 'answers' .

Sometimes I "educate", sometimes I bash. I have a pretty sarastic sense of humor and it's really all dependant on my mood which answer I reply with.
Yes, bashing does produce results. The result is to annoy stupid people with stupid answers and make me laugh. I also like the resulting bash that I get. Then I go back to serious posts.
In a place like this, we all need some comic relief now and again.

How do you educate people who are closed-minded and dismiss logic and facts as folly? When it comes to political ideologies, it's hard to change someone's position--even with hard facts. Consequently, out of pure frustration, it's easy for an intelligent argument to become a bashing fest.

as an independent, i have proudly bashed both sides of the aisle, and have proudly received several hate filled emails, and erroneous epithets. i especially like it when I am called a CON and a LIB in the same question.

I try to educate people unless they are insulting, then I fight back.
When someone asks dumb azz, insulting "lib" questions, then they do not deserve a logical answer....ask a dumb question, get a dumb answer.
