How old were you when you got married? OR How old do you want to be when you get married?

I personaly wasnt married til i was 29. Which was good because I was able to see the world and experience what was out there in the world other than my hometown. I never had to think man if i only was able to go there or see this my life would be different.

I was pretty young when I got married the first time. I know now that I wasn't ready to be married then. We didn't have the respect for each other or the commitment a marriage takes. I am now 33 yrs old and am very happily married. I think maturity helps.

I was married at 22. I don't know if that is considered young. No one said anything to me being too young when I told them I was engaged. No I don't regret getting married. I married the right man for me, it was a good choice.

I married my first husband at 19. Biggest mistake ever! We were both too young and immediately had a child. We were still in college and I had to drop out to take care of our daughter. We lived paycheck to paycheck, which means we were broke most of the time. In addition, I didn't know him well and he turned out to be a controlling abusive jerk.
With my current husband we met in our late twenties, dated for three years, and knew each other well before getting married. This will be our 10th year of marriage. Being older definately has its benefits.

I was nineteen when i got married and got a divorce three months later he was absuive and never let go anywhere see my family so yea i regreted getting married to him and I am gonna try to finish college before i get married ever again

i got married when I was 15 yes I know very shotgunish but hey. still with him and no i don't regret it. Though we have aged like one of those old couples that are sitting in the room and one randomly yells your nut cream is in the fridge well it just suits me. My kid which is 11 ask questions and gets me thinking but other than that everything is cool for try number 5678. CHeers and hopes I didn't just jinx myself one more time.

I got married when i was 26, not too young not too old.
But the thing is Marriage isnt about how old you are, it's about how mature you are to accept responsibilities and life long commitment.

I was 20 yrs. old. I was way to young and naive and yes I do regret it. It was the biggest mistake of my life. I missed out on a lot. I never got to travel, finish college, meet people etc. The bottom line is to enjoy life and to dive into big decisions and commitments once you have lived and accomplished your goals.

19 years old when I married, yes, I regret it because I divorced him when I was 22 years old. I think people should atleast wait until they are 25.

I'm 18 and I got married three months ago, so I couldn't tell ya that I regret it because I'm still in the newlywed phase.
