Do you think this was the Best Documentary Feature? Was it a documentary or a powerpoint presentation? Was this just liberal Hollywood hype to help elect a Democrat to the White House?

Please limit your opinions to WHY you think this particular film won. No need to justify or disprove "global warming", just comment on the motives and/or factors that led up and the winning of this film

It's politics. Hollywood is about politics. It's in-season to care about the environment. I don't need Al Gore to make me think about the environment. Maybe some people do.

I haven't seen the documentary you're referring to, but as I already stated...I already know about global warming.

a documentary is a film or TV program presenting the facts about a person or event.

That being said "An Inconvienent Truth" did presents facts regarding the event global warming and is thus a documentary.

Now that the fact that it is a documentary has been proven. There is easily no other documentary that had nearly the popularity that it had this year. It is the third-highest-grossing documentary in US history.

regardless of who made it, and alot of its popularity is yes due to al Gore, that being said it was still hands down the best documentary and most important in that catagory.

Plus coming from someone who say the original powerpoint presentation before the film was released, they did alot of work on this film, it was not simply Al Gore filmed, it even won an Oscar for best original score, i don't remember Mr. Gore singing the song during his presentation.
